something to de-stress ^^

Gaurav and Gerard bullied me into watching this flash on my lappie yesterday, and kinda glad they did ^^ It's a really cool FF parody flash that some guy did for his/her high school Japanese project. Real good stuff! Even more so for a FF fan... Wonder if I shld recommend this to sensei to screen during class ^^ Such a pity that I *still* dunno how to do flash, or doing sth like this wld be just uber-awesome!!!

Final Fantasy A+

On another note, it seems that there are only 4 of us gg for the Japanese video conferencing thingie this afternoon. That makes me even scared-er and nervous...... Wich me luck!!

few more weeks to go....

Typing this outside SPS before I need to head over to lab and whack more tiles... Doesn't help that the *stupid* NUS-VPN for the LAN just refuses to connect (just installed it again after surviving on 1 year plus w/o the Cisco client)..... So back to wireless for me while I do some sort of update for the 2 weeks of absence...

Well, semester's coming to an end :( And I am REALLY behind time for my UROPS... *bleah* The only up-side of it is that making tiles (or at least violently throwing them on the floor in a bid to get them out of the mold) sure is a great way to de-stress... Until i get TOO frustrated with them NOT coming out... Aargh.... (Let me know if anybody wants to join me in venting their anger/frustrations/ etc on my tiles ^^) Another round of tile making on Thu tho'.... Plus I really need to see tha environmental science guy (early?) next week... Being a procrastinator AND a slowpoke really doesn't help at all....

On the other hand, the cladistic report dateline got extended til next wk, meaning Chee Peng and I can breathe a little easier, and do stuff on Thu and Fri instead of rushing everything out today.... Wanna go home earlier to (1) watch Extreme Japan, (2) finish microbio reports, and (3) get enough rest before tmr's full day that includes general physio lab and a fieldtrip to MacRitchie...

Japanese classes are gonna kill me pretty soon... din SU, so need to really buck up, man... last 2 lessons on 敬語, and I dun really get them... Plus, 先生 managed to get me to go for some video conferencing in Japanese on Friday (supposed to be for intermediate Japanese language pple... and LAJ2203 is STILL elementary... help!!) *sleepy* Need to get back to lecture prep for L49....

handphone woes....

Aargh!!! Why is it that HPs in Singapore don't last beyond the 2-year plan that they come with?!? Well, at least mine doesn't..... My nice Sony Ericsson just did what a cranky Windows machines does... Show me a BLUE screen of death.... But since it is still kinda functional, Abel was saying that it is possibly a software prob *grumbles* Meaning I need to make a visit to one of the THREE service centres ard in Singapore... Prob at the end of the week.... Thu or Sat I guess (anybody wanna come along w me?) Do the Japanese have such problems? Or do their warranties last for two years instead of the meagre one year here? There goes my watever I haf saved.... Was saving for iPod nano, as well as basic open water, but guess that wld haf to go into either my hp repair or the cost of a new one.... Esp since my hp model is old, as well as not very popular.... Meaning I prob only get $20 bucks for it if I am lucky... *growl*

At least today was not ALL gloom and doom... Microbio CA over (tho' I was kinda in a daze since my hp died-ed just before the CA, and now you know how reliant I am on my hp now...), and I got into the Hiroshima homestay ^^ Now, need to pursuit Daddy that the 1000-odd bucks spent wld be worth it... Need to reply by Thu (06 Oct) so that's quite a bit of fast talking I wld need to do... Esp since I end late on Tues and Wed, plus I haf Jap mid-term tmr *cries* I will survive........................
